Disclosures

Affiliate disclosure

The Paediatric Nurse participates in affiliate programs. This means that when you click certain outbound links on our site and subsequently take an action — request information from a nursing program, enroll in a course, or purchase a product — we may receive a referral fee at no additional cost to you.

As required by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidelines (16 CFR Part 255), we disclose these relationships clearly and conspicuously. Affiliate links are identified inline (for example: "We may earn a commission if you request program information through this link.") and are also listed below.

Nursing education / degree programs

On pages covering degree and certificate programs, we may link to nursing schools and education-marketing aggregators through affiliate programs. Active partnerships will be listed here once applications are approved. At the moment, no nursing-school affiliate partnerships are active.

Retail products (scrubs, books, equipment)

We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. We may also participate in manufacturer affiliate programs (for example, scrubs brands).

Advertising

We may display advertising from third-party networks (such as Google AdSense) on this site. Those networks set their own cookies and collect their own data as described in their respective privacy policies. Ads are clearly separated from editorial content and do not influence what we cover or how we cover it.

Editorial independence

An affiliate relationship with a school or product does not buy coverage, placement, or a positive review. Editorial and affiliate decisions are separated, and our medical reviewer has the authority to remove any link, CTA, or recommendation that conflicts with the editorial standards on our editorial standards page.
